We strongly recommend that delegates register online for the Summit. You will receive confirmation of your registration by email. For online bookings, payments must be made by credit card.

To register for the pre-Summit workshop, you must ensure you tick the appropriate box on the registration form. Space is limited so only those who have indicated their preference will be able to participate in the workshop. There is no extra cost to participate in the workshop, for registered Summit delegates.
Who should attend?
Attendance at the Summit is by invitation only.
Delegates, exhibitors and sponsors will include all air transport industry players with an interest in environmental issues including airlines, airports, airframe, engine, equipment and component manufacturers, air navigation service providers, fuel suppliers, ground service and transportation providers, travel and tourism companies, chambers of commerce, civil aviation authorities, politicians and aviation regulators. The organisers reserve the right to cancel registrations for those not deemed eligible. To confirm your eligibility, please email info@environment.aero.
Method of payment
All payments for online delegate bookings must be made by credit card. Online registration is strongly recommended. If you register by fax or post, you can pay by bank transfer, cheque or credit card.

Credit cards
American Express, MasterCard or Visa credit cards may be used.
All invoices must be paid upon receipt. If payment is not received before the start of the Summit, participants will be asked to pay on-site or provide proof of payment (copy of bank transfer order). The Summit team reserves the right to refuse entry if payment has not been received.
Cancellations/transfers
Cancellations must be made in writing. If received by the Summit team in Geneva before or on 7 March 2008, the registration fee will be refunded (minus a US$ 100 administration fee). For cancellations received after this date and before or on 4 April 2008, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. As from 5 April 2008, fees will NOT BE REFUNDED. No-shows will be billed for the full amount and will NOT be refunded.
Your registration may be transferred to another person at no charge, subject to written notification to the organisers prior to start of the conference.

Summit documents
On-site, each delegate will receive a badge, a final Summit programme and the list of participants. The presentations will be available electronically after the Summit.

The Summit will be conducted in English only.

Airport & hotel transfers
The hotel is only three minutes from Geneva International Airport. A shuttle bus departs from the hotel and the airport every 20 minutes between 05:10 and 12:00. From 12.00 to 24:00, the shuttle bus is available on demand. At the airport, the shuttle bus is parked at exit C4.
Visas
All visitors must hold a passport that is valid at least three months beyond the intended length of stay. The Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs" website provides Swiss Embassy contact details, for visa information.
The organisers and Geneva International Airport cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for persons who may be refused entry into Switzerland.
Gala dinner
All Summit delegates, sponsors, exhibitors and speakers are cordially invited to a gala dinner on the evening of 22 April 2008, at no additional cost. Further details will be provided during the Summit.
Delegates wishing to bring along guests to the gala dinner should register them as Partner dinner guests, at a cost of US$ 170, using the online registration form.
Dress
Business attire is suggested for both the Summit and the gala dinner.
About Geneva
Geneva is located between the Alps and the Jura mountains at the very South-West part of Switzerland with a backdrop of Lake Geneva and the Mont Blanc and the Rhone river. Climate
Geneva enjoys a temperate climate with average daytime temperatures of 15-20°C in the spring. Its altitude is 375 m above sea level.
Language
Whilst French is the official language spoken in Geneva, English and German are also spoken in most hotels, restaurants and shops.
Time zone
In April, Geneva is in the time zone of Central Europe (Greenwich GMT +1).
Currency
The currency is Swiss Francs (CHF). One Franc is divided into 100 centimes. 1 USD = approx. 1.2 CHF
Most credit cards are accepted in the majority of hotels, restaurants and shops. There are no restrictions on the import and export of foreign currency.
Tipping
Service is included in the bill in restaurants and bars in Switzerland, but it is customary to leave small change.
Mobile phones
GSM 900 and 1800 networks cover the whole country. It is illegal to use a hand-held mobile telephone while driving.
Electricity
Voltage 220 volts. Plugs and sockets are three-pin (circular).
